Emergencies and natural disasters can strike anywhere and at any time bringing workplace injuries and illnesses with them. Employers and workers may be required to deal with an emergency when it is least expected and proper planning before an emergency is necessary to respond effectively. Get your families and homes prepared for a hurricane
We encourage all businesses operating in and around the potentially affected areas to take the time to prepare their families and homes for a hurricane and to follow all instructions provided by local authorities. The list provided below consists of some resourceful links that may help you prepare for a hurricane:
During a power outage you will need to contact your local transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP). They are the company responsible for maintaining and repairing the wires, poles and equipment in your service area.
